Use Glimpse to Inform Your PR Strategy
Imagine you work in a PR firm, partnering with numerous brands across multiple media channels. Your client has just had some negative press, and you need to quickly assess the impact. How do you do it?
A typical approach might look something like this:
- You search frantically on social media, reading posts and trying to understand what people are saying and thinking. The problem is, you have no idea if the people who are creating chatter are the ones who really matter.
- You can try to get a survey written and run overnight. But you need to get your insights team involved, they need to write a survey (and get approval), and by the time they get it out and get the results back, it’s been well over 24 hours.
But there’s a better way: Glimpse.
With Glimpse, you can craft a question or two, get it out in minutes, and then, using Glimpse’s easy AI-powered dashboard, quickly assess the damage. Armed with insights from Glimpse’s instant insights, you can confidently advise your client on the best course of action to take.
The British Dislike Meghan Markle
A couple months ago, a friend asked me about how people perceive the Royal Family and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and all the drama surrounding them. Curious to find out the answer from real users, I used Glimpse to run a quick question. We asked 150 people in the U.K. and another 150 in the U.S. what they thought about all the controversy.
Just 30 minutes later, we had answers. Only about 20% people in the U.K. were supporting Meghan Markle, the rest were indifferent or disliked her. In the U.S., more people supported her — with key topics such as “racism”, and negative sentiments toward the media. Interesting!
Imagine being able to get these kinds of insights —within hours — into the hands of a publicist, then getting this published as a quick story before anybody else, and having millions of impressions as a result.
In coming posts, we'll talk about types of personas, including advertising and media, CPG, and investing. In the meantime, please reach out to us to learn more. We would love to hear from you.
